Island Fashion, who earned over $2 million during her racing career, sold for $950,000 to Katsumi Yoshida's Northern Farm. Out of the SW mare Danzigs Fashion (A Native Danzig), Island Fashion won five graded races during her career, including three Grade I events. At three, Island Fashion won the 2003 GI Alabama S. and GI La Brea S., then at four added the 2004 GI Santa Monica H. The Everest Stables homebred was also second against males in the 2004 GI Santa Anita H. The gray is believed to be pregnant off an April 8 cover to Ghostzapper and was consigned by Pope McLean as part of the Everest Stables reduction.
