Sugar Ray (Ire) (Danehill), coming off a runner-up effort in the G3 Cumberland Lodge S., attracted a final bid of 600,000gns from Anthony Stroud during Tuesday's session of the Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale. The four-year-old was campaigned by trainer Sir Michael Stoute for owner Philip Newton.
