Galileo–Makybe Diva Colt Tops Session 1 of Easter Sale

A regally-bred colt by Galileo (Ire) and out of two-time Australian Horse of the Year Makybe Diva (GB) sold for A$1.5 million to lead the first session of the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale. Consigned by his breeder, Tony Santic's Makybe, the bay was purchased by Danny O'Brien Racing. The colt is the first foal out of Makybe Diva, who won the G1 Melbourne Cup three straight years 2003-2005.
