An attractive filly by Exchange Rate out of Wickedly Wise (Tactical Cat) realized a final bid of $375,000 as the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky July Yearlings Sale entered its latter stages Tuesday afternoon. Consigned by Kitty Taylor's Warrendale Sales agency on behalf of David Hanley's Whitechurch, the grey filly was purchased by Zayat Stables. The Valentine's Day foal was purchased by Hanley for $100,000 as a Keeneland November weanling. “She was a helluva filly,” said bloodstock advisor Sobhy Sonbol. “She's very racy-looking and looks like she's going to be a fast and early one.”
