Sunday's action at Maisons-Laffitte will offer some key clues for the remainder of the season and all eyes will be on Al Wukair (Ire) (Dream Ahead) as he comes back in the G3 Prix Messidor. Last seen finishing third in the G1 2000 Guineas May 6, Al Shaqab Racing's class act has course form having won the Apr. 10 G3 Prix Djebel and remains one of the year's most exciting prospects. Due to weight-for-age and the penalty system, he gets eight pounds from Shadwell's Taareef (Kitten's Joy) who returned to upstage his stablemate Zelzal (Fr) (Sea the Stars {Ire}) in Chantilly's G3 Prix Bertrand du Breuil at this trip June 18.
