The first session of the 2021 Thoroughbred Owner Conference series, which began with discussion on the business and economics of racehorse ownership, is in the books. More than 340 people attended virtually Mar. 2. The panel was sponsored by Keeneland and moderated by television analyst Caton Bredar, while featuring owners George Bolton and Maggi Moss; Sarah Reeves, attorney and member, Stoll Keenon Ogden; and Jen Shah, tax director, Dean Dorton.

The 10-session virtual series, presented by Bessemer Trust, Dean Dorton Equine, Stoll Keenon Ogden, and Stonestreet Farm, is hosted by The Jockey Club and the Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association. The second session will take place Tuesday, Apr. 6.

All sessions are recorded and made available to registered guests. There is no fee, but registration is required. For more information about the series, including the full schedule of panels and registration, please visit ownerview.com/event/conference or contact Gary Falter at [email protected].
