Khalid Abdullah's Time Test (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}), who missed the Aug. 17 G1 Juddmonte International, will now have a break and will therefore not contest the G1 Qipco Irish Champion S. Sept. 10, according to racing manager Teddy Grimthorpe. The 4-year-old was last seen winning the G2 York S. July 23, and also took the G3 Brigadier Gerard S. in May.
“Time Test is having a break,” said Grimthorpe. “[Trainer] Roger [Charlton] wasn't particularly happy with him in the lead-up to the Juddmonte, so he won't be going to Ireland.”
Time Test holds an entry in the Oct 15 G1 Qipco Champion S.
“We'll just have to see how he does,” Grimthorpe added. “Only when he's back in full work and pleasing Roger will a decision be made on his future.”
