UNTAP (Tapit&hid=28277">Tapit) gets his career started for Mathis Stable LLC and Hall of Famer Wayne Lukas and sports a sneaky turf pedigree. The gray colt is a half-brother to the New York-bred Get Jets (Scat Daddy), a restricted winner on both dirt and turf and third in the grassy GIII Red Smith H.; as well as Vow Me Now (Broken Vow), victorious earlier this year in the English Channel S. on the lawn. The April foal's dam is a half-sister to SW Wake Up Kiss (Cure The Blues), whose NY-bred son A Shin Forward (Forest Wildcat) took out the G1 Mile Championship S. in Japan and stands at Rockridge Stud in the Empire State. A $280K Fasig-Tipton October yearling, Untap fetched $200K at the same company's Midlantic 2YOs in Training Sale earlier this season. TJCIS PPs
