Longholes Stud and Spring Lodge have signed on as sponsors for Newmarket's Guineas Festival on May 6 and 7. Longholes, Sheikh Fahad's 220-acre commercial racehorse rehabilitation facility near Newmarket, will put its name to the G3 Longholes Palace House S. for the next five years as well as a six-furlong handicap.
Spring Lodge, a 100-acre farm in County Limerick that boards mares and young stock and serves as the base for Qatar Racing's Irish-based horses having breaks from training, will sponsor the first race on 2000 Guineas day, the Spring Lodge S., a nine-furlong handicap.
