The half-sister to Breeders' Cup winner Hootenanny debuts Monday | Horsephotos

8th-SA, $54K, Msw, 3-5yo, 6f, 7:30 p.m.

In a race that also features the debut of Flightline's half-brother Eagles Flight (Curlin), breaking just to that runner's outside is VISCERAL (Violence) for the partnership of MyRacehorse and Edge Racing. Bought for $400,000 out of OBS March last year after working in :10, the grey or roan colt is the second foal out of a half to GSW San Pablo (Jump Start) and MGSP Slider (Prenup). Working out of trainer Mark Glatt's barn, Visceral has fired bullets in two of his last three works including a sharp five furlongs from the gate in :59 1/5 May 5 to be best of 42 at the distance. Earlier in the day in New York, Tipple (Constitution) goes to the track as a Summer Wind Equine homebred for trainer Linda Rice. Out of More Hennessy, who Summer Wind bought for $1.5m at FKTNOV in 2015, the filly is a half to GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf hero Hootenanny (Quality Road) and SW/GSP Ryder Ryder Ryder (Quality Road). Another half-sibling, More'n Likely (Blame) has now produced stakes winner Daring Do (Into Mischief). More Hennessy herself is a half to GI Prioress S. winner Cat Moves (Tale of the Cat). TJCIS PPS
