Graded stakes winner Metaboss (Street Boss–Spinning Yarns, by Free House), will begin his stud career next month at Harris Farms in California, reported the stallion's managing partner Mersad Metanovic.
“We are pleased to have him standing at Harris Farms, which we think is the best Thoroughbred breeding farm in California,” Metanovic said. “We would like to thank John Harris and David McGlothlin.”
The 5-year-old stallion will stand for $2,000.
“We already have over 20 mares committed to him,” Metanovic said.
Metaboss won the 2015 GIII El Camino Real Derby and was second in last year's GII Del Mar H. On the board in seven of 12 starts, he retired with three wins and earnings of $300,420.
