Medaglia d'Oro

9th-GP, $36,000, Msw, 1-28, 4yo/up, f/m, 6f, 1:10.13, sy.

+D'ORO TOMORROW (f, 4, Medaglia d'Oro–Seeknfind, by Giant's Causeway) posted some swift workouts at Palm Meadows–including a bullet four-panel drill in :46.75 Jan. 8–and was bet down to 8-5 favoritism for this career debut. Away from the gate a bit slowly, the dark bay settled into a steady rhythm after an opening quarter in :22.24 and took aim at the leaders on the turn. Sweeping up four wide into the lane, the filly forged clear to notch a decisive four-length victory over fellow firster Morea (Indian Charlie). The winner's second dam is G1SW Seeking the Pearl (Seeking the Gold), herself the dam of MSW and $5-million earner Seeking the Dia (Storm Cat). Seeknfind produced a colt by More Than Ready last year. D'oro Tomorrow sold for $110,000 as a Keeneland September yearling and progressed to go for $180,000 to these connections as an OBS October juvenile. Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, $21,600.
