MGSW Long on Value (Value Plus) has been supplemented to the horses of racing age portion of Keeneland's 2017 November Breeding Stock Sale, it was announced Monday. Recently third in the Sept. 16 GI Ricoh Woodbine Mile, Long on Value has amassed $981,693 in earnings from 30 career starts. He captured the GII Twilight Derby in 2014 and the GIII Canadian Turf S. in 2015. The 6-year-old will be consigned by Elite Sales as Hip 2884A, to sell Tuesday, Nov. 14.
“Long On Value is a hard-knocking Grade/Group 1 horse that continues to get better with age,” said Elite Sales' Bradley Weisbord. “Internationally campaigned in 2017, he ran second by a nose in the G1 Al Quoz Sprint in Dubai and was an unlucky third in his most recent run in the GI Woodbine Mile to top American miler World Approval (Northern Afleet) after being blocked badly around the far turn. He's ready to provide his buyer with thrills at the top of the sport.”
The Keeneland November Sale runs from Nov. 7 through Nov. 18.
