A few days ago I was devastated to hear that Signor Mohammed Taha [Arabic editor of Al Adiyat] had passed away. For many years he was one of my greatest and closest friends. I had the privilege and the honour to work with him at Al Adiyat and to spend some time with him racing either in Dubai or in Europe. He was a very fine judge of human beings and of horses. He had a very good sense of humour and he worked very hard all his life. His death is a big loss for his family, for his friends, for Al Adiyat, for Dubai and for the whole world of racing. My deepest condolences to his family and to his friends. Rest in peace Signor Mohammed Taha. I'm sure that in Heaven you'll continue to run in Group 1s as you have always done during your too short a life. Ciao.
