Ivawood Headed to France

MGSW & MG1SP Ivawood (Ire) (Zebedee {GB}–Keenes Royale {GB}, by Red Ransom) will move to Haras du Mont Goubert in France and command €3,500 next year, Jour de Galop reported. Previously located at Coolmore Ireland, the G1 2000 Guineas runner-up and G1 Irish 2000 Guines third has first juveniles running this year, with 16 winners. Among them are stakes winners Chares (Ger) and Sopran Ival (Ire). Haras du Mont Goubert and Coolmore will stand the horse in partnership.

“I went to see the horse in Ireland and I must say, his physique is really remarkable,” said Haras du Mont Goubert's Victor Langlais to Jour de Galop. “He's a good walker too. It shouldn't be forgotten that Ivawood, after having been a champion at two, was able to hit the board twice in Classics at three.”
