BY SENSATION (FR) (f, 2, Threat {Ire}–Home Office {Fr}, by Kitten's Joy), an Apr. 24 last-out third going five furlongs at this venue, went forward to stalk the pace in second early before claiming control after the opening exchanges. Shaken up off the home turn, the 7-1 chance and came under sterner urging inside the final furlong and was ridden out to hold the late challenge of Anaconda (Fr) (Chachnak {Fr}) by a neck, becoming the first winner for her freshman sire (by Footstepsinthesand {GB}). By Sensation is the lone reported foal produced by an unraced daughter of GIII Sweetest Chant S. victrix and GI American Oaks third Consumer Credit (More Than Ready). The January-foaled bay's second dam is a half-sister to GIII Dogwood S. victrix Lady Radler (Kantharos) and Listed Svenskt Derby runner-up London Citizen (Proud Citizen), themselves out of G2 KZN Fillies' Guineas winner and G1 Allan Robertson Fillies Championship runner-up Sally Bowles (SAf) (London News {SAf}).
