Tasleya enjoyed the weight of favouritism in this rain-affected unveiling and justified the crowd's faith with a performance full of potential. Steadied under cover in rear after breaking from the outside box, the 31-10 chalk made eyecatching headway on the bridle into contention approaching the quarter-mile marker and lengthened clear in impressive fashion once quickening to the fore entering the final eighth to score by 3 1/2 lengths from Hold True (GB) (Bated Breath {GB}). The homebred bay is the second foal and first winner produced by MGSW G1 Prix Rothschild third Mashoora (Ire) (Barathea {Ire}) and she is a half-sister to a yearling filly by Oasis Dream (GB) and a filly foal by Kingman (GB).
