Baum Named President Of The German Owners And Breeders Association

Gregor Baum, President of the Hanoverian Rennverein and owner of Gestut Brummerhof, was unanimously elected as the new President of the German Owners and Breeders Association at its annual General Meeting on Monday, Aug. 29. Baum replaces Honorary President Manfred Ostermann, who had served 18 years in his former role. The new Vice-President of the organisation is Dr. Ingeborg von Schuber, who owns Gestut Ebbesloh. In addition, the German Owners and Breeders Association's new Board of Directors are as follows: Lars-Wilhelm Baumgarten, Heike Bischoff-Lafrentz, Peter Gollmann, Stefan Hahne, Sascha Hartung, Rolf Harzheim, Dr. Andreas Jacobs, Friedrich von Lenthe, Jacqueline Leve, Andreas Neugeboren, Doris Schmidt, Jeanette Spratter, Jochen Stargardt, Christian Sundermann, Matthias Tamrat, Philip Baron von Ullmann and Nastasja Volz-Degel. Delegates for the board of directors of the Racing Authorities are Gregor Baum, Lars-Wilhelm Baumgarten and Nastasja Volz-Degel.

“The Owners and Breeders association is thankful that Manfred Ostermann will continue to support the new board of directors as the honorary president,” Baum said.
