Alpine Star won the Coronation S. and sold in foal to Frankel | Scoop Dyga

Group 1 winner Alpine Star (Ire) (Sea The Moon {Ger}–Alpha Lupi {Ire}, by Rahy) brought €6 million and was the second seven-figure lot of the day during the Goffs November Breeding Stock sale when selling to MV Magnier. Consigned by Kiltanan Castle Stud for the Niarchos family, lot 1240 is carrying to Frankel (GB). She is a half-sister to the European champion Alpha Centauri (Ire) (Mastercraftsman {Ire}), who won four Group 1 races, as well as a full-sister to G1 Moyglare Stud S. winner Discoveries (Ire) (Mastercraftsman {Ire}).
