January can be cold, bitter, and snowy in Lexington, but the weather was unseasonably warmer during Keeneland's Horses of All Ages sale, which made life easier for inspecting broodmares and short yearlings on the sales grounds and stallions at the nearby stud farms that power the industry here. Sequel Open House to Benefit TAA

Sequel Stallions New York will hold an open house Sunday, Jan. 19, from 12-4 p.m. at the farm in Hudson. Originally scheduled as a stallion show with a sit-down dinner and giveaways, the format has changed to a light lunch with stallions shown throughout the day.
