Dubai World Cup Turns 30 in 2026; Calendar Released

The 30th edition of Dubai World Cup night will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026. The Dubai Racing Carnival, spanning 17 race meetings, begins on Friday, November 7 and ends on Dubai World Cup night. Dubai Racing Club released the 2025/2026 racing calendar on Monday. There will be four major race days this season beginning on December 19 with Festive Friday with the G2 Al Maktoum Mile the highlight. Hawthorne Swaps Saturdays For Thursdays For Remainder Of Season

Hawthorne Race Course will swap out Saturdays in favor of Thursdays for the upcoming June-through-Labor Day portion of its season, continuing a schedule switch that the Chicago-area track began with the current spring meet. The Illinois Racing Board (IRB) granted the change with a unanimous vote at its Apr. 20 meeting. Right now Hawthorne is racing on a Thursday-and-Sunday schedule. Meydan's Season To Begin On Nov. 4, As DWCC Enhanced

The 2022/2023 racing programme for Meydan Racecourse, as well as the enhanced $7.5-million Dubai World Cup Carnival programme, was revealed by the Dubai Racing Club (DRC) on Friday.
