Former G1 Cheltenham Gold Cup and G3 Grand National-winning jockey Robbie Power has been appointed to the Tattersalls Ireland Bloodstock Team, beginning on Monday, Oct. 3. He will assist Tattersalls Ireland with inspections, promotions, pre-sale and sales day matters. Lester Piggott On The Mend In Switzerland

Former jockey Lester Piggott, who had been hospitalised in Switzerland on May 22, is improving, daughter Maureen Haggas revealed at Haydock on Saturday.
