Racing League Jockeys Revealed

Several big names have been added to the upcoming Racing League competition this summer. Frankie Dettori, Oisin Murphy, Jim Crowley and Hollie Doyle are all set to take part. Dettori is part of the Newmarket team, along with fellow riders Jamie Spencer and Luke Morris, who are paired with trainers John Gosden, Sir Mark Prescott, Robert Cowell and David Simcock. John Gosden, alongside fellow Newmarket trainers Sir Mark Prescott, Robert Cowell and David Simcock, will make up one of the dozen teams of the Racing League tournament which begins next summer. Dates, Venues Locked Down For Racing League

Six meetings have been designated next summer for the Racing League, Britain's team contest that will see £1.8-million distributed in prizemoney. As part of the Racing League, 12 teams consisting of two to four trainers, three jockeys and 30 horses will compete in 36 races across the six meetings and accrue points for their finishing positions. Racing League To Offer £1.8-Million

Racing League, a team series spanning 36 races across six evening meetings in Britain this summer, will see £1.8-million paid out in prizemoney with a bonus for the winning team under a point-based system. Racing League is an initiative of Championship Horse Racing, which states its goal is to distance horse racing from "the public perception that it's a complicated, elitist recreation inextricably linked to gambling."
