The Jockey Club's Nancy Kelly Passes Away Following Long Illness

Kelly, who helped raise millions of dollars for equine research and for individuals in need throughout the Thoroughbred industry over the course of a 32-year career at The Jockey Club, died Feb. 9 in Garden City Park, NY. Allen Named RTCA White Horse Award Winner

Marshall Allen has been named the winner of this year's Race Track Chaplaincy of America White Horse Award. Allen, an assistant trainer at Emerald Downs, saved the life of long-time horse owner Jim Foulkes, who had collapsed in the track's barn area last May. The Race Track Chaplaincy of America (RTCA) is seeking nominees for its 19th Annual White Horse Award (WHA), which honor the selfless servants and unsung heroes of Thoroughbred racing. This year's winner(s) will be announced Tuesday, Nov. 2 at Del Mar just prior to the beginning of the Breeders' Cup World Championships. RTCA to Host Seventh Annual Golf Tournament

The Race Track Chaplaincy of America (RTCA) will host their Seventh Annual Golf Tournament at Champions Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville, KY, home of the PGA Barbasol Championship. All proceeds go to support RTCA National and racetrack Chaplaincies everywhere.
