OTBO Stallion Season Auction Set for Dec. 14-15

The annual Select Stallion Season Auction hosted by the Ohio Thoroughbred Breeders and Owners (OTBO) will be held Thursday, Dec. 14 and Friday, Dec. 15 with previews Dec. 12 and 13. The OTBO has selected a group of stallions from around the country, including major farms in Kentucky and New York, for the auction. OTBO Stallion Season Auction Runs Dec. 5-8

The Ohio Thoroughbred Breeders and Owners will offer over 75 stallion seasons during its 2022 auction which will be hosted by Starquine.com. Preview days will be held Dec. 5-6 and the auction opens Dec. 7 and continues through  8 p.m. Dec. 8. Darby Dan Farm will offer seasons to its entire roster of stallions, as will Indiana Stallion Station. OTBO Stallion Season Auction Set For Dec. 8-9

The Ohio Thoroughbred Breeders and Owners (OTBO) will conduct a stallion season auction Dec. 8 and 9 with previews beginning Dec. 3. Among the more than 120 stallions included are 59 that are based in Kentucky, including the likes of Creative Cause, Dialed In, Karakontie (Jpn), Union Rags and West Coast to name a few. OTBO Mixed Sale to be Held Thursday

The Ohio Thoroughbred Breeders and Owners (OTBO) Association will hold its annual Mixed Thoroughbred Sale this coming Thursday, Oct. 15., with 87 horses entered including weanlings, yearlings, juveniles, broodmares, and older horses. Eleven horses will be offered from the dispersal of the Estate of Gerald Silver, including Mobil Solution (Mobil), a current runner and dual black-type winner whose record stands at 30-9-9-6 with earnings of $523,070.
