Indian-Bred Filly First SW for Calumet Farm's Musketier

Juliette (Ind) (Musketier {Ger}) produced a telling burst of speed in the final furlong and carried visiting Irish jockey Colm O'Donoghue to a barnstorming victory in Saturday's $55,138 Indian Oaks at Mumbai as the 4-1 favorite. In scoring by a widening 5 3/4-length margin in the race restricted to 4-year-old fillies, the bay became the first black-type winner for her sire, who stands at Brad Kelley's Calumet Farm a stone's throw from Keeneland Racecourse in Lexington.
