The 2022 edition of the Goffs Million has drawn 24 horses to the Curragh for the seven-furlong race on Saturday, Sept. 24. Now worth €1.234 million, up from the original purse of €1 million, the race consists of 12 Irish-trained entries and a like number of British-trained entries, and is open exclusively to Goffs Orby Yearling Sale alumni. Demand remained strong on the second day of the Goffs Autumn Yearling Sale and Shadwell Estate's Derrinstown Stud continued to sit firmly atop the leading consignor standings.
