Ferguson Home On The Market

Bloomfields | Strutt & Parker

Godolphin chief executive John Ferguson has put his home 'Bloomfields' on the market. The stunning property, located outside the village of Cowlinge near Newmarket, encompasses a state of the art training centre where up until recently Ferguson trained a large string of national hunt horses. The spacious six-bedroom house boasts a swimming pool and tennis court and the farm extends to 113 acres with a selection of gallops, well laid out stud paddocks and ample staff accommodation. Estate agents Strutt & Parker are handling the sale and the property has an asking price of £4.5m.

Commenting on the decision to sell the property Ferguson said, “The Ferguson family have had a huge amount of fun at Bloomfields over the last 22 years. We have loved living here, training horses here and the children have all grown up here, but it is time for the next chapter.”

He continued, “Bloomfields stands in a stunning rural site that I expanded beyond 100 acres by buying fields from adjacent farms. The property was designed as a stud farm that had the ability to be used as a training facility. I hope whoever takes the mantle at Bloomfields will love being there as much as I have.”
