ADMIRAL NELSON (FR) (Kingman%20(GB)#tot">Kingman {GB}), a son of the stakes-winning Shamandar (Fr) (Exceed and Excel {Aus}), topped the sheets when knocked down for £440,000 at Doncaster's Premier Yearling sale. His 11 rivals include Aidan O'Brien stablemates Merchants Quay (Fr) (No Nay Never), a €300,000 Arqana August half-brother to this term's Listed Prix Omnium II victor Pisanello (Ire) (Raven's Pass); and Irish Chief (War Front), who is the second foal produced by G1 Nassau S. runner-up Wedding Vow (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}).

Nat Rothschild's COCONUT (GB) (Australia {GB}) is a daughter of runaway G1 Sun Chariot S. heroine Spinning Queen (GB) (Spinning World) and thus a half-sister to Listed Princess Royal S. victress Gallipot (GB) (Galileo {Ire}). The Ed Walker incumbent is opposed by 11, including Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum's Jaaizah (GB) (Dansili {GB}), who is a Roger Varian-trained homebred daughter of G1 Prix de l'Opera third Hadaatha (Ire) (Sea the Stars {Ire}).

INHERENT (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}) is a Cheveley Park Stud homebred son of the operation's G1 Falmouth S. and G1 Sun Chariot S. heroine Integral (GB) (Dalakhani {Ire}) and debuts for the Sir Michael Stoute-Ryan Moore axis. Opposition features three previous winners including a pair by Siyouni (Fr) making their seasonal return with Godolphin's Encipher (GB) representing the John Gosden yard and Al Madhar (GB) from the Richard Hannon barn.

Lady Bamford and Coolmore's TUSCAN GAZE (IRE) (Galileo {Ire}) makes his seasonal return coming back from a seven-furlong debut success at Newmarket in November and the John Gosden trainee faces seven rivals with a seven-pound penalty for that success. He is a half-brother to MGSW G1 Nunthorpe S. runner-up Spirit Quartz (Ire) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}) and G2 Sapphire S. victor Caspian Prince (Ire) (Dylan Thomas {Ire}).
