The five semi-finalists for the Dr. Tony Ryan Book Award are all works of fiction for the first time in the award's 12-year- history, Castleton Lyons announced Friday. The winner of the $10,000 award will be announced during a reception at Castelton Lyons Apr. 19.
The finalists are: Flamingo Road, by Sasscer Hill; Missionville, by Alex Brown; Out of Luck, by John Perotta with illustrations by Jen Ferguson; Pulse, by Felix Francis; and The Whole Sky, by Heather Henson.
