On the eve of the 2019 Breeders' Cup, HEYWOODS BEACH (Speightstown), a half-brother to GI Filly & Mare Turf and GII Juvenile Fillies Turf victress Stephanie's Kitten (Kitten's Joy) makes her bow for Hronis Racing and trainer John Sadler. The dark bay is out of a daughter of 1995 GI Del Mar Oaks heroine Bail Out Becky (Red Ransom) and cost SF Bloodstock $550K at Fasig-Tipton November in 2015. Heywoods Beach, a $150K graduate of the 2018 Keeneland September sale, was bought back on a bid of $190K at the Fasig-Tipton Gulfstream Sale before being purchased by David Ingordo for $180K at OBS June (:21 2/5). Expensive Curlin Breezer Gets Going…

2nd-SA, $50K, Msw, 2yo, f, 1m, post time: 4:32 p.m. EDT
SARALIN (Curlin">Curlin) gets her career underway for a partnership of Kaleem Shah and the Coolmore triumvirate of John Magnier, Michael Tabor and Derrick Smith, who teamed to acquire this half-sister to GISW Salutos Amigos (Salute the Sarge) and GSW Sarah's Secret (Leroidesanimaux {Brz}) for $1.3 million at this year's Fasig-Tipton Gulfstream Sale. Originally a $250K purchase as a foal out of the 2017 Fasig-Tipton November Sale, the March foal fetched $470K as FTSAUG last summer. She breezed a furlong in a slick :10 flat over the Gulfstream main track before hammering to Ben McElroy as agent for the partnership for the fourth-highest price at the Gulfstream sale. Saralin's yearling half-brother by Uncle Mo was sold for $250K at FTKOCT just last week. TJCIS PPs
