The Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale Part I, which enjoyed a timely boost over the weekend when graduate Jack Naylor (Ire) (Champs Elysees {GB}) added the G3 Lanwades Stud Fillies S. to her resume– which already included a pair of Group 1 placings– takes places Tuesday and Wednesday with 471 lots catalogued. The catalogue includes the progeny of accomplished sires including Dark Angel (Ire), Exceed and Excel (Aus), High Chaparral (Ire), Kodiac (GB) and Mastercraftsman (Ire), as well as exciting first-season sires like Bated Breath (GB), Born To Sea (Ire), Nathaniel (Ire), Sepoy (Aus) and So You Think (NZ). Part I of the sale will be followed by Part II Sept. 24, with 234 lots catalogued for that session. All lots catalogued in both parts of the sale are eligible for the €250,000 Tattersalls Ireland Super Auction Sales Stakes on Irish Champions Weekend.
