A total of 1,515 lots have been catalogued for the Tattersalls Autumn Horses-In-Training Sale to be conducted Monday through Thursday, Oct. 24-27, a sale whose 12,000gns graduate Jet Setting (Ire) (Fast Company {Ire}) landed this year's G1 Irish 1000 Guineas.

Billed as the world's largest sale of horses in training, this year's catalogue features almost 90 group/listed performers, including Dick Whittington (Ire) (Rip Van Winkle), winner of the 2014 G1 Phoenix S. and victorious in this year's G3 Ballycorus S. at Leopardstown. He is one of 31 horses to be consigned from Ballydoyle. Also to be offered is the Juddmonte-bred Epicuris (GB) (Rail Link), perfect in three starts as a 2-year-old in 2014, highlighted by a score in the G1 Criterium de Saint-Cloud. The bay gelding is stakes-placed this term. Epicuris is part of a strong 39-horse draft for Juddmonte.

Commenting on the 2016 Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training catalogue, Tattersalls Chairman Edmond Mahony said, “This year's catalogue cover girl says it all about the Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale. Last year's 12,000 guineas purchase Jet Setting (Ire) winning the Tattersalls Irish 1000 Guineas typifies the extraordinary combination of quality and value for money to be found at the sale every year. The beauty of the Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale is that it has horses to suit every possible requirement, both Flat and National Hunt, domestic and overseas. It is a unique sale, the largest of its type in the world, and as ever, it has all the ingredients to attract buyers from every continent in the world.”
