Ardenode (Hellvelyn {GB}), unbeaten in two runs and the winner of Saturday's Listed Prix La Fleche, France's first juvenile stakes race of the year, has been added to the June 19 Goffs London Sale as a wildcard. Trained by Eoghan O'Neill, the gelding holds an entry in next Thursday's G2 Norfolk S. as well as the G3 Prix du Bois and Redcar 2YO Trophy.
“It was always a hope that we would have a horse good enough to send to the London Sale, and we are delighted to bring the first 2-year-old stakes winner of the year in France,” O'Neill said. “This is a horse who I think will suit both Hong Kong and America as well as anyone wishing to keep him in training in Europe.”
