Special Pegasus Programming on TVG

Arrogate | NYRA/Coglianese

TVG, America's Horse Racing network, will create special programming to promote the inaugural GI Pegasus World Cup Invitational and will be live on-site at Gulfstream Park in the run-up to the world's richest horse race. The Jan. 28 contest is expected to feature the top two ranked horses in the world in California Chrome (Lucky Pulpit) and Arrogate (Unbridled's Song). TVG will invest more than $300,000 into programming, feature content and coverage at Gulfstream Park for nine straight days as well as broadcasting live from the track pre-and post-NBC's live network coverage of the Pegasus.

“The Stronach Group is a longstanding valued partner for TVG and we are excited to collaborate with them to draw attention to this unprecedented racing event,” said Kip Levin, CEO of Betfair TVG. “Our experience shows that when TVG puts its programming and promotional weight behind big events that it helps raise interest, awareness and wagering for everyone, including at simulcast facilities and at other advanced-deposit wagering platforms. The Pegasus World Cup Invitational represents the innovation and foresight that are the hallmarks of The Stronach Group and its leadership and we are proud to be working with them.”
