Siyouni | Aga Khan Studs

A share each in Siyouni (Fr) and Le Havre (Ire) will be sold separately on Arqana Online, with the auctions beginning Nov. 21 and closing Nov. 22.

Bidding for the share in Siyouni will open at 3 p.m. on Nov. 21. Siyouni, who stands at the Aga Khan's Haras de Bonneval, is the sire of three-time Group 1 winner Ervedya (Fr); G2 Prix de Sandringham winner Volta (Fr); and a handful of Group 3 winners including Spectre (Fr), Siyoushake (Fr) and Finsbury Square (Fr). He covered 224 mares this year and his progeny sold for up to €400,000 at auction this year. He will stand for €45,000 in 2017. Bidding on the share–which entitles the owner to one nomination per year, plus an extra nomination in 2017 and every other year thereafter–will close at 3 p.m. on Nov. 22.

Bidding on the share in Le Havre, which gives the owner the right to two nominations per year, opens Nov. 21 at 4 p.m. Le Havre, France's champion sire-elect, has produced two dual Classic winners in Avenir Certain (Fr) and La Cressonniere (Fr), in addition to group winners like Auvray (Fr), Suedois (Fr), Zghorta Dance (Fr) and Queen Bee (Fr). Le Havre will stand at Haras de la Cauviniere for €60,000 in 2017, and the bidding on his share will close at 4 p.m. on Nov. 22.

Registration for the two sales is open at arqanaonline.com.
