Seven Go Forward For Dewhurst

Seven Heavens will bid to give Frankel a first Group 1 success | Racing Post

A field of seven will face the starter in the G1 Dubai Dewhurst S. at Newmarket in Saturday including the likely strong favourite Churchill (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}). The Group 1 winner is one of two Ballydoyle challengers, the other being Lancaster Bomber (War Front) whose task it would seem is to ensure a sound, even pace. Godolphin also field a pair of colts in the G2 ITM Gimcrack S. winner Blue Point (Ire) (Shamardal) and Thunder Snow (Ire) (Helmet {Aus}) who was second in the G2 At The Races Champagne S. to the to the William Haggas trained Rivet (Ire) (Fastnet Rock {Aus}) who is also in the lineup. The field is completed by a pair of unbeaten, potentially top class colts in Qatar Racing's South Seas (Ire) (Lope De Vega {Ire}), an easy winner of a Group 3 on his previous start, and Seven Heavens (GB) (Frankel {GB}) owned, like his sire by Khalid Abdullah, and a 620,000gns yearling purchase from Cheveley Park Stud last year.
