Observations for Apr. 1

6.30 Dundalk, Mdn, €11,000, 3yo, 8f (AWT) LONG ISLAND SOUND (War Front) is the $800,000 KEENOV weanling whose dam is a half to the brilliant and peerless Zenyatta (Street Cry {Ire}) and the MGISW Balance (Thunder Gulch) and who makes his eagerly awaited debut for Derrick Smith and Aidan O'Brien. He encounters two similarly unraced Willie McCreery-trained colts in the Godolphin livery in Raconteur (GB) (Acclamation {GB}), a 200,000gns son of the G1 Fillies' Mile heroine Red Bloom (GB) (Selkirk); and New Classicism (Ire) (New Approach {Ire}), whose dam is the Brazilian G1SW Chan Tong (Brz) (Hampstead {Uru}) and is therefore a half-brother to the MG1SW and sire Ivoire (Brz) (Know Heights {Ire}).
