The New York Racing Association (NYRA)'s new account deposit wagering platform will be available in July to coincide with the start of the 2016 Saratoga meet, it was announced Tuesday. The new platform will be known as NYRA Bets and will take the place of their current program, NYRA Rewards.

While NYRA Rewards was formerly restricted to residents of New York State, NYRA Bets will be open to horseplayers from across the nation.

“NYRA Bets will be a premier ADW enhanced by our partnership with GBE Technologies, a recognized global leader in online wagering solutions,” said Chris Kay, Chief Executive Officer and President of NYRA. “We look forward to providing horseplayers across the country with access to the industry's finest racing and most advanced technology.”

As part of the transition to NYRA Bets, the organization also announced that Tony Allevato will assume the role of President of NYRA Bets as well as Executive Producer for NYRA television. Allevato previously spent 14 years with TVG as Executive Vice President and Executive Producer.

Existent NYRA Rewards customers will have their accounts converted to NYRA Bets without any additional registration process. For more information, visit NYRA.com.
