Track announcer Bobby Neuman will return to Los Alamitos to call the winter meet, which runs from Dec. 8 to Dec. 18.
“Bobby did an excellent job during the Los Angeles County Fair meet,'' said Brad McKinzie, vice president and general manager of the Los Alamitos Racing Association. “We're very happy he is going to be back for our third meet of the year.''
Neuman was the longtime caller at Calder Race Course after serving as the paddock host the previous six years at the Miami track. He began his career calling races on the Arizona Fair circuit and also served as the track announcer at Thistledown near Cleveland, Albuquerque, Santa Fe and Standardbred tracks The Red Mile and Pompano Park. He also calls the annual OBS Championship Stakes in Ocala, Fla.
