Small Kitchen, F, 3, by Corinthian

3rd Dam: Lakeville Miss, by Rainy Lake

Gainesway homebred Small Kitchen, who romped by 5 3/4 lengths in her Feb. 2 six-furlong debut at Fair Grounds (TDN In Sharper Focus), made it two-for-two with an easy 7 1/4-length victory Sunday in New Orleans. The bay filly, sent off the 4-5 favorite, broke sharply and went right to the front end under the red-hot Rosie Napravnik. She set fractions of :22.38, :45.80, :57.43 and bounded home much the best. Diamante de Fuego (El Corredor), who missed by just a neck when second to subsequent GIII Tempted S. winner Believe You Can (Proud Citizen) in her debut at Delaware in July before defeating subsequent GII Forward Gal S. romper Broadway's Alibi (Vindication) in her maiden victory last August, was second. The win was the fifth on Fair Grounds' Sunday card for Napravnik. Lifetime Record: 2-2-0-0, $47,064.
