Sarafina was considered worthy enough for this debut and was hammered into 8-5 favoritism at the tills. She justified the crowd's faith and produced a scintillating display to announce her arrival in style. Knowing her job from the gate, she broke best before being restrained in sixth after the initial strides, and made sublime headway once into the straight. She cruised into third with 300 meters remaining, switched inside soon after and engaged turbo boost to accelerate clear of the subsequently demoted Timepecker (Ire) (Dansili {GB}), winning by a geared-down six lengths. The winner is a half-sister to Sanaya (Ire) (Barathea {Ire}, SW-Fr & UAE, G1SP-Fr, $333,337); and Sanjida (Ire) (Polish Precedent, MGSP-Fr, $116,229). Lifetime Record: 1 start, 1 win €12,000.
