Itsawonderfullife, a Eu40,000 GOFORB yearling acquisition, was a 13-2 chance in her career debut at Leopardstown last June 14, but ran into subsequent G1 Moyglare Stud S. victress Miss Beatrix (Ire) and settled for third. Off nearly a year following that effort, the bay found trouble in her U.S. bow over this track and trip June 2, leaping in the air at the break and finishing second by three lengths to a next-out winner. Sent off the 3-5 chalk to make amends here, she rated kindly in midpack for Julien Leparoux before commencing a steady advance on the turn. Wide into the stretch, she inhaled the field in a matter of strides and sprinted away to post a 5 1/2-length victory. Quiet Alice (Quiet American) ran on for the place. Lifetime Record: 3-1-1-1, $34,831.
