Street Magician showed good speed before settling for third to the highly regarded Blue Bullet in a local maiden Jan. 27. Bet down to even-money for this second career outing, the bay colt broke smoothly from post two and was soon in front. He put away a tentative challenge entering the turn, began to open up under a hand ride from rider Rafael Bejarano and crossed the line eight lengths in front of Oistins Bay (Deputy Minister). Street Magician, racing the colors of his breeder R. Larry Johnson, is listed as a $160,000 FTKJUL yearling. Lifetime Record: 2-1-0-1, $26,220.
