Tiz Wonderful, a $200,000 KEESEP yearling and $475,000 FTFFEB two-year-old, posted a :48 2/5 four-furlong bullet over this track Aug. 29 and was given a 5-1 chance to deliver at first asking. With Garrett Gomez aboard, he pressed the early pace, took over in the stretch and left little doubt about the outcome. It was 12 1/2 lengths back to Diamond Fever (Seeking the Gold) in second. Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, $28,200.
