Ready For Spring was slowly away, but was not rushed early and gradually entered contention. Asked to quicken exiting the “dip,” the 3-1 second choice responded to grab the lead with 100 yards remaining and assert nicely from the tenderly ridden Leopard King (Kingmambo) to score by 3/4 lengths.
