Lenaro, looking to become the first winner for her freshman sire (by Unbridled’s Song), had posted several sharp a.m. drills and went postward as the 3-1 second choice. After hopping a bit at the start, the grey filly settled into third as even-money Lunarlady (Yes It’s True) dueled with Dixie N Spades (Dixie Union). Lenaro ranged up on the outside as they straightened for home and bounded away from the others en route to a 5 1/4-length tally. Tak’s Wish (Mutakddim) got up to dead-heat with Dixie N Spades for second, while Lunarlady faded to fifth. The winner was a $100,000 FTKJUL yearling. Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, $31,300.
