Totally Gone, from the family of champion Classic winners Shadayid, Alydaress and Russian Rhythm; champion and MG1SW Park Appeal (Ire); champion and MG1SW Diktat (GB); and champion Cape Cross (Ire), the sire of Ouija Board (GB), brought only $65,000 as a BARMAR juvenile after selling for $130,000 as a KEENOV weanling. He had been working well for his career opener, but was let go at 5-1. The Florida-bred pressed Shooter’s Touch (Touch Gold) from the start, took charge as they straightened into the lane and splashed home to win by 6 1/4 lengths. Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, $26,400. O: David J Lanzman Racing Stb & Sorrento Racing Stb | B: Silverleaf Farms Inc (FL) | T: Doug F O'Neill |
