  Saratoga, Race 4, Msw, 45,000, 2yo, 5f, :57 3/5, ft

Changing Weather, C, 2, by Storm Boot

1st Dam: Behaving, by Rubiano
2nd Dam: Haveaheavenlytime, by Halo
3rd Dam: Bennington Flag, by Hoist the Flag

Changing Weather made an auspicious debut here wearing the maroon and white of Darley stable. The colt, who had developed from a $35,000 KEESEP yearling into a $260,000 OBSMAR two-year-old, came armed for his debut with an impressive worktab and was no secret as the 8-5 choice. Under jockey Edgar Prado, he zipped out of the gate and set speedy fractions of :21 3/5 and :45 2/5 with Guns Drawn (Carson City) keeping him honest. Changing Weather shook loose of that rival, rebuffed the bid of 32-1 longshot Grand Traverse (Pioneering) and drew off to graduate by 3 3/4 lengths. Grand Traverse was second best. Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, $27,000.
