  DONCASTER, 2.20, Mdn, 7,860, 2yo, 7fT, 1:28, gd/sf

Emirates Skyline, C, 2, by Sunday Silence

1st Dam: The Caretaker (Ire) (Ch. 2yo-Ire, MSW-Ire, GSP-US, $881,697), by Caerleon
2nd Dam: Go Feather Go, by Go Marching
3rd Dam: Feather Bed, by Johns Joy

More precocious than millionaire siblings Mutafaweq (Silver Hawk), Hwt. 3yo-GB at 14f+, Hwt. Older Horse-Ger at 11-14f, MG1SW-GB, MG1SP-Ire, G1SW-Ger, GISW-NA, $1,793,496; and Dimitrova (Swain {Ire}), GISW-US, SW & G1SP-Ire, $1,146,388, Emirates Skyline made it pay first time with a comfortable defeat of the Listed Chesham S. runner-up Global Genius (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}). Allowed to drift to 11-4, the second choice broke well and raced freely while stalking the early pace before striding to the front with 2½ furlongs remaining. Jamie Spencer waved the stick as Global Genius threatened briefly and Emirates Skyline opened up to record an authoritative 2½-length success. "He has done it very nicely," Godolphin’s representative Diana Cooper told PA Sport. "He has a lovely action and is a straightforward type who has hopefully got a good future. I don’t know what he will be entered in, but he is from a lovely family and will have a nice progressive path." Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, £5,109.

O: Godolphin | B: Darley | T: Saeed bin Suroor
